What does Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged provide?
The ACHA Support Worker can:
- Provide you with information and help you access services;
- Offer caring support, particularly if you have little or no family available to assist you; and
- Act on your behalf with other service providers and government departments.
How do I get access to Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged?
The ACHA Support Worker can be contacted from 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Thursday on (03) 9800 7208.
What will happen when I telephone?
You will speak directly to the ACHA Support Worker or leave a message and be contacted as soon as possible.
An immediate phone assessment will be undertaken followed by personal contact, which can be provided in your own home by the ACHA Support Worker.
Information and advice will be provided based on your individual needs.
Privacy and confidentiality is assured.

Low income, homeless or at risk of being homeless.
