White Road Day Centre
Who is White Road for?
White Road cares for the social needs of frail aged, adults with disabilities, or compensable clients (WorkCover or TAC) residing in the Knox community. White Road provides opportunities to socialize, participate in specially planned programs and mix with others in similar circumstances. The centre aims to maintain and enhance the independence and quality of life for the clients.
What services does White Road offer?
White Road coordinates social activities including woodwork, craft, community outings and discussions.
Where is White Road located?
White Road is located at 13 White Road, Wantirna South. Access is also available from the rear of the Villa Maria Centre, 355 Stud Road, Wantirna South. Parking is available on site. The Centre is also accessible by public transport. Limited transport services are available from Carinya. A bus fitted with a hoist for those who are in wheelchairs or with impaired mobility can pick up people who live in the city of Knox from Monday to Friday only. Please call White Road to discuss this option further.
Cost
Cost is based upon income and starts from $7 for a day program. Prices start from $20 per session for a day program for people receiving Community Aged Care Packages. Compensable clients will have a fee negotiated with their insurer.

Additional funding
In addition to client fees, funding also comes from the Victorian Department of Human Services - Home and Community Care Program, National Respite for Carers Program as well as donations from the community.
