Villa Maria recognised as one of the state's best employers

Villa Maria was one of 16 employers recognised by the Victorian Government at the Fair and Flexible Employer Recognition award ceremony on Tuesday 23 June.

The awards are designed to recognise employers who have developed and implemented innovative programs that lead the way when it comes to providing a healthy work and life balance for their employees..

Villa Maria, together with Reflex Technology Group, will host a charity golf day at Southern Golf Club, Keysborough on Monday 19 October 2009. We need your support, as a player or a sponsor, to help Villa Maria create a brighter future for older people and people with a disability.

All proceeds from this year’s golf day will go towards the ‘my future my choice’ initiative at Austin Street, Alphington - a purpose-specific home being built for young people currently living in nursing homes.

Christmas in July Ball

As the time draws near, excitement builds for the inaugural Villa Maria Christmas in July Ball for the people we support in our Disability Residential Services, Day Programs, Gateway Services and Individual Support Programs.

The Ball will be held on Saturday 25 July, will be wonderful opportunity for people who do not usually have access to such activities, to celebrate with each other.

In 2007 Villa Maria celebrated 100 years of service to the Victorian community.  "Thousands of stories, millions of possibilities", the centenary year digital storytelling project, captures Villa Maria's rich history and the collective stories of the many people who have been associated with the organisation.
