Villa Maria was founded by volunteers in 1907 and today they still play a crucial role in achieving our vision of creating choices and building inclusive, sustainable and compassionate communities. Villa Maria enjoys the support of more than 300 volunteers.

The contribution of our highly valued volunteers is fundamental to our service delivery. Volunteers provide social opportunities for people receiving Villa Maria services, as well as provide administration and fundraising support, particularly through our opportunity shops.

Volunteering with Villa Maria is a chance to participate in your local community, share your skills, connect with like-minded people and make a real difference to people's lives. You can also develop new skills, gain valuable work experience, build your confidence, and have fun!

Villa Maria offers its volunteers induction and on the job training, support and supervision, Personal Accident Insurance, and a valued place in a large community organisation.
